Alert

The alert is the first stage of prevention: the more rapidly the alert is given, the faster can emergency, protection and activity continuity measures be established; thus the more can the consequences of an accident or a disaster be minimised.

In the same way, knowing how to identify an alert allows to adopt the necessary strategy and behaviour, and minimise the consequences of an accident or a disaster. Alerts are different with regard to the different hazards.

An alert system and protocol has to exist within the business, defined in the interior constitution of the business and the emergency plan. There is also a protocol for alerting the public authorities that the business and its heads must know.

You should know how to alert and identify an alert, no matter if you are at home, at work or on the road.
