The French Civil Defence High Committee is an association based on the 1901 legislation that participates to the thinking about the doctrine, the organisation and the techniques of our country concerning global security and civil defence. The goal of its’ activities is to bolster the development of a modern Civil Defence, both in its objectives and capacities, and considering the present and future threats and risks posed to the citizens’ security and safety.The association acts in concert with the government and the legislator, but also with security and safety professionals, private societies and agents, emergency and rescue organisations, and the public opinion. For the Committee to respond to it’s ambitions, it organises monthly conferences and breakfasts in order to favour the exchange between different actors. In this perspective, the Committee has developed a crisis management training program for the public and private sectors.
